Talk about a little upset…this pilot gets angry with Los Angeles ATC when they apparently didn’t answer his radio calls on numerous attempts. The poor controller that just sat down on position has to take the brunt of the pilots complaints as he rambles on about not getting service. I wonder if the pilot knows what ATC’s requirements are for providing flight following to VFR aircraft? This event probably wouldn’t have the same outcome for this pilot if he was flying somewhere around New York….or maybe the guys and gals at N90 would have been very understanding and provided him the best service possible!
