Sorry, I’m single pilot typed with no MEI. Purposefully? Maybe. Am I going to spend 5k so you can log time? No.

Must have been that turbulence right before landing...

He can defer all the knobs though. Lol

Tom Doug Matt but why would you need that one anyway, I just stay on the green line and get scared as we approach a lat disco

Log entry: “HDG knob became inop inflight.”

I doubt any pilot could burn a 100 dollar bill without being in a high level of distress.

How did I get top fan?

I could do that all day long with that movie prop money 😜🀣

I think that's backwards. That's they way I felt when renting ... like I was burning money. If I were still renting, I would have given up flying many years ago.

"Quick take the pic so I can't put it out, I'm still paying ERAU for the next 50 years and can't afford this"

I liken GA pattern work to driving around the block for 2 hours, tossing $20's out the window every lap.

my E6B had all the apps I needed. It had no batteries to fail and never dropped a signal.

Probably life of every captain and fl330

Spending more on fuel than the premium fee to change your location πŸ‘ŽπŸΎ

More right swiping

That’s for me too. How about flying around the pattern using only trim and using the doors for control?!

Oh how the tables turn... or something like that. Airline hiring seems to be returning to normal tho. RadarContact.com #squawkdirtytome #aviation #pilot #airlines

I've heard Alpine air and Key Lime Air are desperate for pilots. If flying 1900s and metroliners with no autopilot through the rocky mountains on cargo runs for UPS are your thing. Just mind those pesky Cirrus on final lest they buzz off your tail

I heard Boutique Air is beyond desperate for pilots 🀷🏼‍♂️

  1. […] AVweb – The pandemic-paused pilot shortage will be felt again by 2023 and back with a vengeance by 2025, according to a new study on the pilot supply. The report, by the consulting firm of Oliver Wyman, says the aviation industry could be short as many as 50,000 pilots worldwide by the middle of the decade after full recovery from the pandemic. The study also says North American operators will see the shortage first and feel it hardest. β€œIn North America, with an aging pilot population and heavy use of early retirements, the shortage reemerges quickly and is projected to reach over 12,000 pilots by 2023β€”13 percent of total demand,” the report says (see article here) […]
